Saint Clair Pioneer Block 14 Doctors Creek Pinot Noir 2008 is elegant with a well-structured and full palate. It has good length of fruit with flavours of raspberry and plums. Oak ageing has lent warm savoury notes on the palate, with a long lingering finish. A good match with spring lamb or tuna steak, it is drinking well now, or cellar over the next 2 to 5 years.
