Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2011 from the Marlborough region combines the considerable winegrowing experience of Ivan Sutherland and James Healy, former Chief Viticulturalist and Head Winemaker at New Zealand's famous Cloudy Bay. This elegant style has a fresh bouquet with intensely concentrated aromas of tropical fruits infused with ripe citrus notes, complemented by lifted hints of lemongrass and passionfruit. The palate has excellent texture with fine acidity, a degree of minerality and a lasting, refreshingly crisp finish. Great with oysters and scallops, and also white meats and mild cheeses. Ideally enjoyed as a young wine but may be cellared for several years.
Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2011 can be mixed into cases of 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 bottle packs. Please visit our Delivery Details page above to view delivery rates.
