Spy Valley Wine

One of Marlborough's leading family owned wineries

Spy Valley Wine is situated on the sunny southern side of Marlborough's Wairau Valley. Bryan and Jan Johnson established the first of their 380 acres of estate vineyards in 1993, and were pioneers in what was then a Marlborough sub-region.

 

Spy Valley Wine has been produced and sold under the Spy Valley label from vintage 2000. The unusual name is derived from the presence of a huge satellite communications monitoring station nearby; hence the nickname Spy Valley!
