Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2017

***FEATURED OFFER***

100% Sauvignon Blanc fruit grown in the Marlborough region. Meticulous viticultural practices include low cropping and hand-harvested grapes.

Fruit was hand-picked from eight of Dog Point's own vineyards within the Wairau Valley. Cropped at an average of 7.5 tonnes/hectare, the fruit was whole bunch pressed, cold settled before fermentation, with 2 to 3 months ageing in stainless steel tanks. A portion was fermented using indigenous yeast. Bottled without fining.

Winemaker's Comments

Vibrant perfumed Sauvignon Blanc characterised by freshly squeezed citrus and dried herbs. The palate is juicy with fresh, upfront acidity followed by a soft, round texture.

"Pungent passion fruit and fragrant melon, Tahitian lime citrus, this really takes sauvignon to another place for Marlborough, exposing the edgy, exciting and minerally possibilities whilst embracing the rampant intensity of fruit. Great acid, mouth-watering from front to back."
