Neudorf Sauvignon Blanc 2015
100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Balquidder Vineyard on the Waimea Plains in the Upper Moutere winegrowing region around Nelson.
Upon harvest destemmed fruit cool settled over 72 hours and racked. Fermentation with a 60% cultured and 40% wild yeast in 80% stainless steel, 20% neutral barrel fermentation. Left on gross lees.
A nose of exquisite orange blossom with an undercurrent of summer herbs. The pure fruit pushes across the palate to an extended and full mineral finish. Refreshing and mouth filling; dry but contains excellent weight of fruit on the palate. An example of the new Sauvignon Blanc style where restraint and purity are primary motivators.

90 POINTS - Stephen Tanzer Wine Review
Robert Parker Wine Reviews (Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW) Tasting Comments:
"The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc exudes vegetal and herb notes of pea pods, bell peppers and sage with an undercurrent of lemon juice and green apples. Light to medium-bodied with tons of herb-laced flavours and a wicked backbone of rasping acidity, it delivers a lot of intensity and freshness."
