100% Chardonnay carefully selected from several quality vineyards within Marlborough’s Wairau Valley region.
The majority was fermented in new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. It then underwent malolactic fermentation to soften acidity and give fullness of palate. After 6 months barrel ageing, the wine was blended and carefully prepared for bottling.
Pale gold in colour, with aromas of Golden Queen peach, fresh bread crust, nutmeg and butterscotch. The palate is medium-bodied with flavours of ripe stone fruit and cinnamon. Elegant, youthful and creamy with soft acidity and a lingering finish.
