DESSERT WINE - 375ml bottle
100% Riesling from vineyards in the Blind River sub-region, with the balance coming from the rich silty soils of Dillon`s Point in the Lower Wairau of Marlborough.
Hand-harvested at optimum maturity, the fruit was transported overnight for pressing. The juice was then settled for 3 days, and cool fermented in stainless steel using aromatic yeast to tease out the delicate flavours and retain the fresh fruit characteristics and underlying spicy notes. After fermentation, the wine was chilled and settled on lees for 3 weeks.
This late harvest Riesling has enticing aromas of mandarin and ripe apricots, with subtle hints of spice and honeysuckle. A full bodied wine with just the right balance of sweetness, the palate is full and firm leading to a silky finish.
