Craggy Range Te Kahu Merlot Cabernet 2007 comprising 54% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot, the Craggy Range Te Kahu 2007 has an opaque core with a dark garnet coloured rim. On the nose, a complex array of fruit - blackberry, blueberry and plum; dried herbs such as thyme, and spice in the form of aniseed, with hints of earth and camphor. Equally as complex on the palate, yet meshed by savoury tannins and balanced acidity. Very long finish. Great with venison and lamb dishes. Potential cellaring of up to 10 years from vintage.
