Vidal Reserve Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 is made from Vidal's vineyard in the renowned Hawkes Bay Gimblett Gravels growing region. It has black cherry, tobacco and game aromas leading into a palate that shows rich black plum and earthy characters. While young, the tannins will be firm and fine-grained but will soften over time. Delicious with smoked or chargrilled meats with rich gravies or sauces.
