Villa Maria Single Vineyard Ensor Sauvignon Blanc 2007 is produced from a vineyard owned and operated by the Ensor family, this vineyard is located in the Waihopai Valley. Cooler than most of the central Wairau, it is planted on a shallow sandy loam over greywacke stone 170 metres above sea level, resulting in highly concentrated, full flavoured fruit. Villa Maria Single Vineyard Ensor Sauvignon Blanc has an exuberant nose of classic gooseberry and lime. The palate is full of passionfruit and gooseberry carrying through to a lively, long finish.
