Astrolabe Chardonnay 2008 from the Marlborough region is a wine of very elegant texture with stone fruit flavours, pleasing weight and a long dry finish. Already drinking very well, it will develop further with careful cellaring. Lovely accompaniment to pasta, poultry, pork and ham, Mediterranean food in general, white fish and scallops.
