Astrolabe Pinot Gris 2008 from the Marlborough region has aromas of poached pears and quince jelly with a background of nougat. On the palate, this is a pure, easy drinking wine with a fine minerality and delicacy of structure. Pear, quince and peach flavours dominate. Enjoy lightly chilled on its own, or with poultry, light game, mushrooms and pasta.
