Craggy Range Te Muna Road Riesling 2008 from the Martinborough (Wairarapa) region has aromas of roses, talc, fresh nectarine and orange zest. The palate is filled with stone fruit, lime and honey characters. Subtle at first, the palate builds in body and intensity. The distinctly chalky texture, characteristic of the vineyard, leads to a refreshing dry finish. Lovely as an aperitif or with light entrees. Cellaring potential up to 6 years from vintage.
