Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc 2009 from the Marlborough region has powerful gooseberry, greengage, capsicum, passionfruit and lime peel aromas. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied with strong gooseberry, passionfreuit and currant flavours, a hint of freshly-cut red capsicum, and a refreshingly smooth lingering and crisp finish. Great with summer salads, Thai noodles, seafood, and green-lipped mussel dishes. Best enjoyed young and fresh, but has the potential to age gracefully over the next two years.
