Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2008 from the Martinborough region has a rich and dense nose displaying dark cherry, spice and subtle mushroom characters, along with ripe intense red and dark berry fruit aromas and subtle spicy oak. The palate displays concentrated ripe red fruits and fine grained tannins give texture and persistence while the berry flavours linger. A succulent and beautifully textured wine with lovely mid-palate weight, this is a stylish Pinot that is sure to mature gracefully.
