Craggy Range Calvert Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009 from the Central Otago region has aromas of fresh black cherry, red roses, spice, dark berries and lavender. The palate is full with a lush entry and a long fine tannic core; generous and complex flavours of plum, blackberry, lavender and bay combine with hints of spice and earth. The wine finishes with length and grace. Good with game birds and bbq lamb. Cellaring potential up to 7 years.
