Delta Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009 from the Marlborough region has lifted notes of violet and ripe cherry with hints of plum and spice. On the palate, a silky start and a grainy, mineral-rich finish. A juicy but focused wine. Delta Vineyard is the own label of the multi-award winning New Zealand winemaker, Matt Thompson.
