Saint Clair Pioneer Block 18 Snap Block Sauvignon Blanc 2010 from the Marlborough region has aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit and lifted notes of blackcurrant. The palate is intensely concentrated with fresh passionfruit and blackcurrant; a salty minerality leads to a long and lingering finish. Ideal with lightly spiced Thai cuisine or grilled salmon with chargrilled vegetables, this wine is drinking beautifully now and may also be enjoyed over the next 1 to 2 years.
