This wine shows the palate concentration and structure typical of wines from the soils on the southern side of the Wairau Valley. Light straw with green highlights, the aromas are dominated by gooseberry and lemongrass with underlying spicy green capsicum notes. The palate is long, showing a rich concentration reminiscent of olive oil, balanced with crisp acidity. The fresh herbal fruit notes are complemented by ripe capsicum flavours.
