Our wines may be ordered in any quantity, we do not impose any minimum order restrictions. However please note that robust courier-strength packaging is significantly more expensive for small bottle packs, which is why unfortunately we have to pass on the full courier charge for orders of less than £100.
Our standard case sizes are 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 bottle packs.

GENERAL DELIVERY INFORMATION:
Please ensure a Mon to Fri delivery service is suitable BEFORE placing an order.
Dispatch of orders is usually within 1 to 5 working days (Mon to Fri) from receipt of the order, whereupon an automated confirmation email will be sent to your email address on the day of dispatch. If you need delivery for a specific occasion or event, please ensure adequate time is allowed.
If you do not receive your automated order confirmation and dispatch confirmation, please note they can sometimes be filtered out, so do check your bulk/spam mail folders and mark 'not junk' if required.
Upon dispatch (normally within 1 to 5 working days from receipt of order), the courier service used will be 'Next Day' (Mon to Fri). For example, if you receive your "dispatched" confirmation on a Friday, then your order should be out for delivery with the courier firm on the next working day, Monday. (Please note the couriers do not deliver on Bank Holidays or weekends.)
Standard weekday delivery times are between 8:30am - 5:30pm.

If you would like your wine left somewhere safe, please read our UNATTENDED DELIVERY section carefully.
Please note that the courier firm is unable to provide special timed deliveries, or Saturday delivery. It is a normal Next Working Day courier service, and their drivers are NOT able to accommodate special arrangements (e.g. calling individual customers personally, or ahead of time, etc) so bear this in mind when specifying instructions.
If no delivery attempt has been made the following working day after receipt of the dispatch confirmation (or the order has not been left as instructed), please inform us AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE and we will contact the courier firm to request further information on the consignment status.
Order confirmation, payment confirmation, and dispatch is confirmed by email only; no information is enclosed in the boxes except a generic company leaflet (unless a gift message has been specified). If a VAT receipt is required, let us know and we can email one separately upon dispatch.
You may cancel your order at any time until 7 working days starting the day after delivery. Should you decide to cancel all charges to you will be refunded as soon as the goods are returned in merchantable condition.
THE DELIVERY PROCESS:
Our UK deliveries are undertaken by a reputable national courier service. All asterisked address and contact information requested during the purchase process must be provided. Failure to provide adequate or valid information will delay dispatch of your order.
If the order has specified that someone will be available to sign, and no-one is available to receive the wine on the date of delivery, a card will be posted. If the order has specified that a neighbour can sign, and no nearby neighbour is available to receive the wine on the date of delivery, a card will be posted. A re-delivery date should then be arranged directly with the local depot AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
The consignment will be be held at the depot for 2 to 3 days. If redelivery fails to be arranged, or it fails to be collected, it will be returned to our warehouse and we reserve the right to charge for any further costs incurred in dispatching again.
UNATTENDED DELIVERY:
NB: Gifts deliveries require signing for; please read our 'Gift Delivery' section below for further information.
If the wine is for delivery to your OWN address however, you may request that your wine is left somewhere on the premises without a signature if you are out (e.g. hidden securely out of view inside a shed or garage, etc). There is no insurance coverage for unsigned/unattended deliveries so please be aware that this is always at your OWN RISK.
NB: The courier firm will NOT leave premium wine in open view on a doorstep, etc. for obvious reasons, so please don't ask us to do this - it will only cause problems and inconvenience when it ends up having to be collected from a local depot instead.
We are willing to pass on sensible instructions whenever appropriate, however please be aware that we use a third-party national courier network and for this reason would never recommend unattended delivery.
Notes will be ignored altogether if particularly unsafe instructions are provided for wine to be left unattended, e.g. "At front door", "On driveway" or "Behind bin", etc. particularly in high-population areas where items will never be left so unsecurely. It must be properly concealed, so daily callers (postmen, binmen, leafteters, tradesmen, window cleaners, etc.) are unable to see it.
In circumstances where unsuitable instructions have been provided a neighbour will be asked to sign if available, otherwise such instructions will be ignored, and the delivery carded in the normal way.
DELIVERY ADDRESSES:
You can choose to have your wine delivered to a different address to your home (billing) address by adding the relevant address to your 'Address Book' in your 'Account Details', or by clicking the 'Deliver to New Address' button during the ordering process.
GIFT DELIVERY:
Please ensure a Mon to Fri delivery service is suitable BEFORE placing an order.

Delivery hours are Mon to Fri during working hours, so do please consider whether this is suitable BEFORE placing the order - for example, instructing us to deliver to a home address when the recipient is at work all week is likely to cause major problems for them. Delivery to a work address is more practical in this situation, as unsuccessful delivery by our couriers could result in the recipient having to collect the wine from a regional depot which may not be appreciated. If delivery cannot be achieved, and it fails to be collected, it will be returned to our warehouse whereupon another charge will be incurred to dispatch again.
Although our wines may be ordered in any quantity, our standard cases sizes are 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 bottle packs so if the wine is a gift you may wish to stick to these amounts, for neatness of presentation.
Wines are transported via national courier network in sturdy, courier-strength cardboard packs for safe transit. We are unable to individually gift-wrap bottles, etc. however our packaging is tidy and presentable.

Failure to provide valid contact information will only delay dispatch of your order. We require a valid telephone number for the recipient in case of any delivery issues or queries. If the order is a gift delivery to a domestic address and you would like us to call ahead to arrange a convenient day for delivery, please request this via our 'Contact Us' form, always ensuring that you quote the order number.
Please note gift deliveries are sent requiring signature. If you wish to add a message, tick the "Gift Delivery" option and add text in the box, otherwise leave the "With Signature" option ticked. Instructions to leave gift deliveries unattended will be ignored, as this is rarely safe or appropriate (for example, the recipient may be away on holiday, etc). If the recipient is out the couriers will try and find a neighbour to sign, otherwise it will be carded and the recipient will need to rearrange a delivery date direct with the local depot.
NB: The courier firm will NEVER leave gift deliveries (or any orders generally) unattended in open view (e.g. "At front door" or "On doorstep") for obvious reasons, so please don't ask us to do this - it is only likely to cause problems and inconvenience when it ends up having to be collected from a local depot instead.
If the wine is a gift and you wish to pass on a message, you will have an opportunity to do this in Delivery Options towards the end of the ordering process. Messages are enclosed in the case exactly as written, so do please remember to clarify who the message is from!
Again, if the gift is for a special occasion, please note dispatch timescales (within 1 to 5 working days from receipt of order, via Next Day Mon-Fri courier service) and allow plenty of time to avoid disappointment.
DELAYS AND/OR QUERIES:
We will contact you by email if we are made aware of any unexpected delays, or have any queries regarding your order. Certain wines and vintages may occasionally be subject to availability, however we will contact you by email before dispatching to confirm whether you will accept a substitute, or earlier/later vintage, by way of replacement.
SPECIFIC DELIVERY REQUESTS:
If you would like to liaise with us regarding arranging a convenient delivery day, or if you have any further queries regarding our delivery process, do please contact us using the details supplied on the 'Contact Us' page and we will do our best to accommodate. If a particular delivery address proves to be persistently problematic for our couriers to negotiate for any reason, we reserve the right to request that the customer provides an alternative, more practical address.
