Bright ruby in colour, this has lifted aromas of black cherries and plums. Floral notes are integrated with savoury mushrooms and toasty oak characters. It is a luscious, medium-bodied wine with a round soft palate, well balanced acidity, supple tannins and flavours that linger. Cherry notes dominate the palate and are supported by hints of plum and redcurrant. A mixture of new and old French oak provide rich savoury notes on the palate with a full lingering finish.
