The 2007 vintage of this wine won GOLD at the “New Zealand International Wine Show 2007” and SILVER at the “Bragato Wine Awards 2007”. Pale straw in colour, it displays powerful and intense aromas of crushed herb, blackcurrant bud, passionfruit and gooseberry. It has fresh vibrant flavours of passionfruit, gooseberry and crushed herb with a rich full palate, striking minerality and a lingering finish. It is the crushed herb flavours that is a point of difference for this wine. Drinking beautifully now and may also be enjoyed over the next 1 – 2 years.
