The nose is fairly closed this early in the wine’s life, but it is already clear that it will brim with violets, exotic spice and rich florals as the wine settles down. The palate is deep, viscous and voluptuous, with dark cherry, blackberry leaf and raspberry notes. The finish adds sweet chocolate and mocha to the mix with a touch of chewy tree sap and toast. Simply gorgeous: everything we love about Cornish Point.
