Owned and operated by the Ensor family, this vineyard is located in the Waihopai Valley. Cooler than most of the central Wairau, it is planted on a shallow sandy loam over greywacke stone 170 metres above sea level, resulting in highly concentrated, full flavoured fruit. The wine has an exuberant nose of classic gooseberry and lime. The palate is full of passionfruit and gooseberry carrying through to a lively, long finish.
