Takatu Vineyard Wine

Takatu Vineyard Wine is situated on a warm north facing hillside above Matakana Village, and is the vision of Heather and John Forsman.

The name 'Takatu' translates as 'well prepared' which aptly defines their approach to growing wine. It is a hands-on operation, adopting sustainable viticultural practises and organic principles whenever possible.
