RED | HAWKES BAY

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the Woodthorpe Merlot Cabernet 2007 is a deep, red ruby colour. It has aromas and flavours of very ripe dark cherry and plum with spicy oak and a hint of milk chocolate. A velvety texture with a fine tannin firmness carries through the palate. A great accompaniment to savoury red meats dishes and hard cheeses, it will continue to evolve in bottle for 3 to 6 years from harvest.
