Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2008 from the Marlborough region is bright straw green in colour. Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc has a bouquet of ripe citrus and tropical fruits underpinned by a degree of minerality and a hint of basil. On the palate, it is concentrated, fresh and full bodied showing excellent balance between fruit and acidity. Good match with white meats, pale cheeses and seafood - especially scallops and oysters. Ideally enjoyed as a young wine but may be cellared for several years.
