This wine's bouquet is unmistakably that of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - intensely aromatic with a strong entry of melons and passion fruit, moving through to gooseberries and an herbaceous note. Intriguingly, the wine also has its own distinctive characters - hints of mineral and citrus, with a more rounded acidity than is usual for New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and a deliciously long finish.
