This is an elegant and restrained style of Chardonnay. The nose has a citrus and mineral component with hints of meal, biscuit and toast from barrel fermentation and ageing. The wine is full bodied with stonefruit and citrus nuances and an elegance which would suggest excellent ageing potential. Complex and long on the palate, enjoy with seafood dishes, especially crayfish. Also good with soft brie-like cheeses.
