The Wallops Chardonnay is a Single Vineyard wine produced from best estate grown grapes, reflecting low yield vines and meticulous viticulture. It has complex aromas displaying toasty, savoury and spicy notes and malolactic characters, with a hint of reduction and mellow French oak. A good acid backbone retains freshness in this well rounded Chardonnay. An ideal accompaniment with poultry, pork, rich seafood or pasta. Drinking beautifully now, however will develop complexity and maturity with careful cellaring for up to 5 years.
