This Merlot is from various vineyards in Hawke's Bay. Deep crimson with purple hues, with aromas of blackcurrants and violets. On the palate, it is rich and full with layers of warm plum and berry fruit flavours. The soft ripe tannins ensure the wine persists well with good length of flavour hinting of liquorice and spice. Superb with barbequed spare ribs, this wine can be cellared for up to 5 years.
