Dog Point Pinot Noir 2014

100% Pinot Noir from Marlborough vineyards. Dog Point is one of the earliest private vineyards established in the Wairau Valley and has some of the oldest vines.

Meticulous viticultural practices include low cropping and hand-harvested wines. This ensures fruit is picked in excellent condition, at optimum physiological ripeness. 18 months maturation in new and older French barrels has infused the wine with beautifully integrated oak characters.

Winemaker's Comments

Uplifted red fruits are complemented by a perfume of violets with underlying notes of clove and cinnamon. A focused, concentrated palate of richly flavoured red fruit, a bright spice infused savouriness from well-integrated oak, finishing with appealing soft fleshy tannins.
