100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in the Pisa sub-region of the Cromwell basin of Central Otago.
Fruit was reductively handled during processing, gently pressed and racked clean. The wine was fermented moderately cool in stainless steel, to dryness. These practices are employed to retain the maximum varietal fruit character of Sauvignon Blanc.
A typically concentrated and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc from Central Otago, the nose is a fruit cocktail of aromas including white pear, passionfruit and melon. Intense passionfruit, citrus, grass and gooseberry explode on the palate, leading to a lovely rich, textured and dry finish.
