Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2014

100% Pinot Noir from Palliser's East Base and Clouston vineyards in Martinborough.

Fruit was fully destemmed; indigenous yeast used and fermented with approx 37% whole cluster, the wine spending on average 15 days on skins. Aged 10 months in 23% new French oak.

Winemaker's Comments

Fresh and tightly concentrated displaying aromas of ripe dark raspberry and cherry fruit, with violet and red floral detail which grows in perfume and lift. Medium-full bodied, the palate is elegantly proportioned with beautifully concentrated and succulent sweet flavours of raspberries and dark cherry fruit. The oak and whole-cluster componentry is integrated and unobtrusive.
