100% Sauvignon Blanc primarily grown in the Palliser and East Base vineyards in Martinborough.
Grapes were harvested and processed at optimum maturity to retain the inherent fruitiness of this varietal. Cool-fermented, partially with indigenous yeast, and aged 6 months on lees.
Attractive aromas with tightly bound, finely expressed gooseberry fruit, and subtle passionfruit and tropical fruit notes. On the palate, elegant and refined flavours of gooseberries, tropical fruits, lime and herbs. White floral and minerally flinty detail add a layer of interest. The mouthfeel is dry in textural flow, with piquant acidity lending lively poise and steely cut. Flows to a tight, mouth-wateringly long and lingering finish.
