100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in the lower Wairau Valley of Marborough.
Only the very best parcels are used for this Wairau Reserve wine. After harvest, the juice was pressed off immediately. After settling it was fermented in stainless steel using a selected yeast. Fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to retain varietal characters and freshness.
Intensely fragrant aromas with grapefruit, blackcurrant bud and gooseberry with notes of salt and flint. The palate is rich and salty with passionfruit, blackcurrant and crushed mineral and a long lingering finish.
