100% Pinot Noir from Seresin's Noa Vineyard which is located in the central part of the Wairau Valley.
Grapes are hand picked, destemmed and cooled for a pre-fermentation steeing,The Noa Pinot Noir is fermented using only wild yeast and stored in French Oak barriques. The wine then undergoes a natural malolactic fermentation and is aged for 15 months prior to bottling.
Winemaker's Comments
Sourced from the Noa Vineyard, this single site wine has an aromatic nose, with cassis layered over fresh, dark red fruit and floral notes. On the palate, an intense core of fragrant red cherry and dark plum is underpinned by finely structured tannins, wood smoke notes and hints of spice. Delicate and feminine, but with a framework to age well.
