Seresin Momo Sauvignon Blanc 2015

100% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards located on the plains in the Wairau Valley of Marlborough.

Fruit was picked in cool temperatures to retain fruit quality. After fermentation at a low temperature, the wine was allowed time sitting on yeast lees to give greater palate depth and complexity.

Winemaker's Comments

Momo translates as 'offspring' in Maori; so-called because this is a second range produced by Seresin Estate. It displays aromas of tropical fruit and ripe pear, with herbaceous notes and a hint of chalky minerality. A textural and rich palate with subtle notes of lemon zest and passionfruit. Finishes long, crisp and dry.

"Vibrant and crisp with a terrific nervy and racy acidity running through the core of this New Zealand white wine made from the country's iconic Sauvignon Blanc grape. This kiwi savvy is herbal and refreshing with lots of mouth-watering, lime zest acidity for a range of dishes. There's some lemon zest on the finish. Intense, vibrant and clean. Mouth-watering acidity weaves its way through fresh aromas of grapefruit and guava. Bring it, especially for movie night with fried chicken!"
