100% Sauvignon Blanc from selected vineyard sites across Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere valleys.
Fruit was harvested in cool evening conditions and pressed immediately with minimal skin contact. After settling the clear juice was fermented at low temperatures with selected yeast strains to preserve the varietal flavours. Fermented entirely in stainless steel.
The bouquet evokes lifted riper-green aromas of blackcurrant leaf, nettle and jalapeno. There are also tropical notes of grapefruit, guava, and passionfruit. On the palate, this is a medium bodied wine with finely balanced acidity, just bursting with fragrant fruit flavours that persist on the long clean, crisp finish.
