100% Sauvignon Blanc from Yealand's Seaview Vineyard in the Awatere Valley sub-region of Marlborough.
Four parcels were selected and harvested individually over 3 days. Fruit was crushed, de-stemmed then pressed gently prior to cold settling for 72 hours. The clear juice was then racked off and each parcel was fermented separately using two different yeasts. A long cool fermentation followed, and the parcels were kept on lees for a period of 3 months, with some stirring. The wine was blended, stabilised and filtered prior to bottling.
Shows pure fruit flavours of guava, blackcurrant leaf, fresh herbs, layered with bright citrus notes. The palate is textured and elegant, with the distinctive mineral finish that this Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc has become renowned for.
