Fruit for the A2 Pinot was sourced from Akitu's twelve hectares of vineyards situated at altitude (380 metres above sea level) in the premium Central Otago winegrowing region, in a stunning location, right up against the Southern Alps, which brings real finesse and elegance to the wine.
Akitu (lit. summit in Maori) focuses purely on Pinot Noir; obsessive in their drive to craft the finest and most representative wines from a fabulous terroirs in a stunning location near Lake Wanaka, in New Zealand's South Island.
