Vidal Wine

Vidal Estate was founded back in 1905 by Anthony Joseph Vidal, a young Spanish emigrant and pioneer was one of the first to appreciate the potential of Hawke's Bay. He established the Vidal Estate in 1905 and his spirit of adventure, coupled with his commitment to crafting elegant wines remains an inspiration to this day. In 1976 the estate was purchased by George Fistonich, who opened the iconic Vidal Estate Winery Restaurant that shaped the landscape of the country’s fine dining history. Vidal is a member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand and BioGro certified (using organic principles). 

From their vibrant, fruit-driven Estate range to their elegant Reserves redolent of true regional identity, all the way to their lofty, limited availability Legacy tier – crafted in limited quantities from selected parcels and exceptional vineyard sites.
