Pencarrow Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of passionfruit, capsicums and herbs show with a stylishly restrained richness, forming a soft core with a fine phenolic texture and line. Balanced, soft, lacy acidity lends energy and flows easily to a delicately lush, light, lingering finish. This is a soft, rounded Sauvignon Blanc with a subtle lusciousness. "Attractively aromatic sauvignon blanc with nectarine, guava and lemongrass flavours. A moderately intense, smooth-textured wine with appealing purity. Fresh acidity is balanced by barely discernible sweetness." Bob Campbell MW
4 STARS - Yvonne Lorkin Wine Reviews, Aug 2018
"Classic herbaceous nose, bruised basil and bouquet garni notes merge with lemon pith and passionfruity flavours, juicy citrus and lashings of cut grass goodness on the palate. Suitably squinty acidity adds length to the finish. It’s a crowd-pleaser."
Medium-bodied, with lashings of passionfruit, capsicums and herby notes. Stylishly restrained richness with a lovely soft core balanced by vibrant acidity and a delicately lush, light, lingering finish.
