Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Intensely fragrant. Rich and salty flavours of passionfruit, redcurrant, papaya and melon with a long, lingering finish.
Saint Clair's Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is an exuberantly fruity, vibrant, up-front Sauvignon style.
Fruit for this vintage is sourced from vineyards in the lower Wairau Valley of Marlborough, where only the very best parcels are selected and used for the Wairau Reserve range.
Saint Clair was established in 1978 by the husband and wife team of Neal and Judy Ibbotson, who were true pioneers of Marlborough, which back then was a largely untapped and undiscovered wine region. The Saint Clair name originates from the vineyard property they took over, originally planted by James Sinclair.
Saint Clair remains a family business and the Ibbotson’s are aided by son Tony and daughters Sarina and Julie who take care of marketing and sales. They also employ one of New Zealand’s leading winemaking teams.

The current release is a cracker. Lemongrass, passionfruit, zesty citrus, sugarsnap pea, white pepper and capsicum characters lead to a luscious, lime-induced glass of gorgeousness."
Intensely fragrant tropical blackcurrant bud and passionfruit aromas combine with notes of green nettle. The palate is rich and salty, with passionfruit, redcurrant, papaya and melon with a long lingering finish.
