Mount Brown Catherines Block Sauvignon Blanc 2017
A label reserved for only the very best wines from Mount Browns award-winning vineyards in Waipara, the Catherine Block collection features the 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, a wine that gains creamy lees notes from being barrel fermented. Along with superb fruit flavours, this wine features a smoky depth and complexity, all of which adds to the rich, tropical fruit and gooseberry flavours. This wine is matured on its lees for three months, with no fining before bottling. Mount Brown is an award-winning New Zealand wine producer, situated in the foothills of Waipara Valley. The abandoned wine estate was rediscovered in 2002 by father and daughter duo Tony Rutherford and Catherine Keith and has since become home to some of the countrys highest quality wines.
