Vidal Reserve Pinot Noir 2019
Beautifully fragrant red berry and floral aromas combine with flavours of cherry, spice and earthy undertones on a finely textured palate.
Vidal's Reserve Pinot Noir is the estate's flagship Pinot with all the power and muscularity you expect from an aged rendition.
Vidal's Reserve Pinot was drawn from hand-harvested high quality fruit sourced from, premium vineyards located in the Awatere and Wairau valleys of Marlborough.
Vidal was established by a young native Spanish immigrant, Anthony Joseph Vidal, way back in 1905. Vidals pioneering spirit in producing classic, elegant wines still runs through this great Hawkes Bay estate today under the current owner Sir George Fistonich. George (who is the founder and owner of Villa Maria), bought the estate in the 1970s and recently built a new winery in the Gimblett Gravels subregion on the same site as the Te Awa winery, Esk Valley and Villa Maria itself.

Beautifully fragrant red berry and floral aromas combine with flavours of cherry, spice and earthy undertones on a finely textured palate. Enjoyable in its youth, this single vineyard wine will gain further complexity with time.
